Your anger and frustration is very much justified - I regret that I'm starting to accept the reality that we won't see the change we need. I don't think it's okay, and I'm deeply concerned not only about the lack of accountability, but the lack of productive conversation about the lies and misinformation constantly churned out by the Met. It's totally unacceptable, and very frustrating that the Civil Liberties Panel may not be willing or able to do anything about it. Have you filled out the questionnaire on policing in London? I'm going to post it on the site and encourage as many people as possible to submit it. I won't be surprised if it doesn't acheive anything ... but I'm not ready to give up yet, either.
