Government agency warned re: spying and trespass

A Government agency tasked with enforcing privacy (the Office of Surveillance Commissioners) advised the Environment Agency that they could be breaking the law with their abuse of surveillance powers. Despite this, the Environment Agency continued to use the same tactics for more than a year after this warning was first issued - possibly because the Home Office advised them that it was okay to continue as they were. The Telegraph has the full story.

I think I am starting to get an idea of what it must have felt to live in East Germany during the cold war. I don't know about you but I feel like a prisoner that is no longer free to think or speak as they want (thought crimes?). One that is persecuted by the state. Have courage and resist, they are not as strong as they like us to think. We hold the true power. YOU may be persecuted further for doing this to begin with, I was. I have told them I won't give up my freedom or rights. It is freedom or death. WE DO LIVE IN A POLICE STATE, IT IS A FACT.
